Action Planning

Action planning is a critical phase after the conclusion of your employee survey. You build more employee trust by taking action and addressing issues raised in your employee survey. Nothing erodes employee trust faster than if you repeatedly ask for employee input through your annual employee survey but neglect to act on their suggestions.

Through our action planning facilitation, you will:

  • Gain more clarity about your short-term and long-term organizational goals
  • Identify critical issues raised in the employee survey that need to be changed and items that will not be changed, with an explanation of why the organization cannot meet employees’ expectation at this time
  • Prioritize action items and establish metrics of success for the organization and for departments
  • Create a communication strategy plan
  • Create a project plan that includes itemized tasks, key milestones, resources needed, and a timeline

We advise that you review your action plan against your progress either bimonthly or quarterly. Through these regular reviews, you build momentum and are able to address any unanticipated challenges immediately. At the same time, when you reach a milestone, celebrate!
